  About Foursquare

The term "Foursquare Gospel" was given in the inspiration of revival to the denomination's founder, Aimee Semple McPherson.

It represents that which is equally balanced on all sides, established and enduring.

In 1989, Pastors Debbie and Mike Masters founded what today is known as New Voice Church.  While living in southern California they were led by the Holy Spirit to plant a church back home in North County, St. Louis.  Two years later, the small independent Northwest Community Church became part of The Foursquare Church denomination.

As attendance grew over the next several years, there was a clear need for a larger building.  In 2001, the congregation moved into a 64,000 square-foot former AMC Theaters complex sitting on 9 acres of land.

During this time of growth Pastor Mike began to see his attention shift towards various roles within the Foursquare denomination.  As he began to travel and work with Foursquare churches around the country, Pastor Debbie transitioned into a more visionary leadership role. Shortly after joining congregations with another North County church in 2008, Pastor Debbie assumed the role of Lead Pastor of New Voice Church.

Throughout our history, we’ve seen many people come to Christ, and New Voice Church remains committed to serving the same community that God called our Pastors to years ago.
